I grabbed a book of Bukowski’s poetry this weekend on recommendation from Jim, and against reccomendation of Slutsky.  I think I am going with Jim on this one.  I usually would not pick up a poetry book, I dont really dig poetry.  But this isnt really what I think of when I think of poetry.  Its more like a bunch of little stories.  Memories on paper.  Makes me wish I  had paid more attention to English in school.  I alway had this strange desire to write, but never enough for me to work at it.  Command of words and grammer, the building block of writing, never took with me. 

Its probably too late for me to learn these things as apathy and comfort have set in the way I do things.
