Today Jim and I tried a little experiment. Well first let me back up.
A few weeks ago at the bar I sent Jim a text message. “Hey we should do a Christmas record. Seriously.” A couple weeks went by and no reply. I figured this was just Jim’s polite way of saying what a stupid idea it was. I mean *I* am the one who is all bah humbug about Christmas why would I be saying to do a Christmas song. Anyway…
A week ago I get a email from Jim. “it’s done” followed by lyrics to the Christmas song he wrote. Which catches us up to now.
I just finished cleaning up Jim’s tracks and got mine down as well. Now its off to Jack for his additions. The last step will be to get Migs in to finish up with some percussion. Its all pretty crazy when you think about it. This is a very unnatural way to do a recording. At least for us.
I cant wait to get it done and show it off to everyone.
