I usually let things wash over me. Just let the moment be what it is. I dont try to anaylze I just let things be. But once in a while things stick out. They make me think. I guess that is the goal of a lot of art.
What does that mean? What does it mean to John? What does it mean to me?
To me when I sing that line off key and at the top of my lungs, its saying that I understand. Its saying I feel like I have been there before. Your songs, your pictures, your stores have taken me there. It makes me want to go there (again) my self.
Jim is also very good at this. I often find my self thinking of his story as if it was mine.
