The other day i got a phone call from the ABQ Journal stating they were doing an article on what makes cool, cool. And that they had been given my number. While doing a phone interview about what is cool, seemed inherently uncool I went along with it. Because, well why not.
So back in the day Jack and I had this idea to do a single serving site telling people they were awesome. So I snagged the URL and threw up amiawesome.com. It was mostly just a fun thing to do and took less then 15 minutes and it lost is shine and we moved on. Well many many moons later it seems that the single serving site meme is still around and amiawesome.com is mentioned many time. Today Ben pointed out that its mentioned in Time Magazine!

If you stand on stage, the idea is to pretend that it’s not fucking ridiculous to be standing on stage, you know?Some people might argue with me on this one, but as usual I know you will come around.
Things don’t ever get easier. “But you get better at them making them seem easier.” one might say. “Humbug.” I would respond. For that argument to be true, you would have to assume that there are no other levels to a given task to achieve. I will give you a real world example.
Cooking. Once you have learned to cook does it get easier? In a way, yes, but not if you continue to try and cook more and better things. Yes making Mac-n-Cheese seems easier after you learn to boil water. But cooking never gets easier.

We all know texting while driving is bad. Well here is an article about how bad it is featuring a photo of me texting, while the driver is texting, while we are interviewing random passangers, while driving around the over crowded downtown streets of Austin during SXSW.
