Good luck newbie!
This week Jack and Kim had a baby boy. I had the opportunity to visit them in the hospital and check out the little tiny baby, Jasper. I have to say that it was a little weird. For one, I HATE (maybe repulsion is a better word for it) hospitals. Second I have never been around a baby that small, he was only maybe 16 hours old. Traveling can be fun. But I still find lack of information is my biggest pet peeve. Even more so when you are a passanger listening to people get directions. Your current location should always be given when you ask for directions. I dont know how many times that one has extended the length of a trip in the back seat of a car.

Fades in the light.
When its dark, I sometimes think I can see ghosts in mirrors. With my eyes closed memories flood in and offer me second chances to take it all in, to do it all again. Repeating in my head like a scratched 45. In the light there are no ghosts in the mirror, and the dreams fade away. In the dark it all comes back again.

Bukowski and me.
I grabbed a book of Bukowski’s poetry this weekend on recommendation from Jim, and against reccomendation of Slutsky. I think I am going with Jim on this one. I usually would not pick up a poetry book, I dont really dig poetry. But this isnt really what I think of when I think of poetry. Its more like a bunch of little stories. Memories on paper. Makes me wish I had paid more...
Learning a little more each day.
I dont think it really matters in the end. But I learned how to do favicons recently. I think its a nice little touch on web sites. I added one to this page even.

I have found that I love taking pictures from the inside of a moving vehicle. I dont know why. Maybe its just me trying to capture the thoughts that seem to only come while driving. Maybe its because I am stuck and bored? Who knows.
